2. I admire your restraint in not calling it sooner.
   Having been living under heavy skies for many years now, the family and I have become resigned to “unfortunate events” and sought to live as best we can on the slope of the farting volcano that has steadily spit rocks on us with the promise of boulders to come.
   2020 has been a year dedicated to firming up tribal affiliation – it really has been “us or them” for a while.
   What has transpired has been the battle space preparation, the period when one or both kids start saying stoopid chit to work up their courage and get the folks in the circle around them on the their side.
   Now, as many are being truly boxed in with real, in your face censorship of facts clearly visible to all in lieu of the ever more outrageous lies and tangible actions of dismissal with extreme prejudice, the small sharts will start escaping from multiple orifices (orifii?) at an increasing rate until real activity starts to take place in even the smallest places of our lives.
   Hope the necessary prayers have already been said, the beads put away and that whatever you have now is enough to bridge you and yours over the initial hump to whatever this is going to really look like going forward.
   At one point I would have said that I had grown to where I’d sign off with “peace and love” and meant it.
   Now I’ll leave you with courage and conviction.
   Most any that know anything real need to stay the course, do only what is necessary to the absolute hilt when needed and be prepared to clean the wounds that follow as best we can.

5. At this point the violence in America, while skyrocketing, is mostly confined to a few zip codes and isn’t really impacting most of us. Yet. When it does it will be a different story but we are mostly too comfortable for things to really kick off yet. I thought we would see a super violent summer plus sweeping gun control but it didn’t happen. When fall rolls around and the “pandemic” suddenly gets worse again? Then we will see but the lack of major conflict has been unexpected.

   1. This is my personal opinion, too.

      Let’s talk about some numbers. At the start of the Civil War in 1861 there was roughly 31.5 million Americans, 27 million white and 4.5 million black – roughly equal to the current 2021 population of Texas. During 1861-1865, there were roughly 500 deaths per day, so the Civil War raw homicide rate per year averaged (500*365) /31.5 million or around 580 per 100,000 per year. The “Floyd Effect” homicide level for 2020 was 6.5 per 100,000. So the First Civil War was 580/6.5 = almost 90 times more violent than our current ENTIRE homicide rate. IF only 1/8 of our current homicides are “politically related” that makes our current “Second Civil War” 90*8 = 720 times less violent than the First Civil War. At this point in time, late 2021.

      Let’s keep going, the FBI just released the crime statistics for 2020 just last week at https://crime-data-explorer.fr.cloud.gov/pages/home . There were around 17.8K total homicides in the US last year. Several ways to split this number up.

      By race: 9.9K black (13% of US population), 7K white (76% of population), under 1K other races (the remaining 11% of population). Since the current total US population is 330 million, that works out to homicides per 100,000 of a particular race to be around 23 for blacks, and around 3 for whites and others. So the black homicide rate is about 8 times higher than for all other Americans, and black homicides accounts for over half (actually 9.9/17.8 = 56%) of all total homicides.

      For what it’s worth, other rule-of-thumb statistics put out in previous years by the FBI indicate that around 90% of black homicides have a black perpetrator and 85% of white homicides have a white perpetrator. This implies around 9.9K * 0.10 + 7K * 0.15 = 2K homicides per year are interracial.

      Another fun fact – a quarter of homicides don’t involve a firearm. Kinda hard to think of those as CW casualties…

      So what’s my point? I don’t really have one, I’m just rolling the numbers around in my mouth to see how they taste. Not sure I see a clear way to fit 1/8 of all homicides as being “politically related”. I personally think the actual ratio is a lot lower. But who knows how long that will be true at this rate.

      One parting, er, shot – for comparison with the “Floyd Effect” homicide rate of 6.5 per 100,000 in 2020, the corresponding suicide rate per 100,000 was 15.0, more than double the homicide rate. The white rate (18.6) was more than double the black rate (7.2).

      If there’s truly real a war going on at the present time, the argument could be made that it is being fought in the minds of white men.

Add in the white Hispanics, and 76% of Americans are white. IMHO, using phrases like “POC” and “brown” to refer to Hispanics is a divisive Marxist psyop propaganda technique to plant subconscious assumptions about the relative proportions of race in America – a technique of divide and conquer, primarily to discourage non-Hispanic whites and encourage blacks. Both groups of whom need to find some way to overcome our current madness and escape this Thunderdome we all find ourselves trapped in, preferably before we hear the sound of chain saws. Even when the first return shots are fired, they’ll almost certainly be courtesy of a false flag op in some flake org. They will be noisy data used to justify further actions by TPTB.

      I don’t think there will ever be a clean start signal to CWII, if for no other reason than TPTB want to make sure there isn’t one. There will be gradual encroachment, goading of radical individuals into violent action, “public safety” operations, and probably some engineered outages of the internet, PSTN, and grid to justify issuing of user IDs for telecoms access – for your own safety, of course. All traffic will then be tracked or blocked as needed, all news will be filtered even more. Things like these blogs will disappear because writing them will be hate speech. The fire under the pot will be gradually turned up until all the frogs are dead. Or in the digital gulag – same thing.

      Until there is the equivalent to Sinn Féin and the IRA, a political arm and a paramilitary arm, there is no possibility of CWII. And TPTB will make sure there never will be.

   It’s showing the disgust with the situation in the country extends to both Biden voters and Trump voters almost equally (those are the only categories they list). For example they take the statement “I have come to view elected officials from the [OPPOSITION PARTY] party as presenting a clear and present danger to American democracy”

   The answers are presented as “somewhat agree / strongly agree”
   Biden voters are 80% / 51% while Trump voters are 84% / 57%.

   Without even knowing their declared margin of error, they sound like they both could be the same numbers. (82 +/- 2, 54 +/-3) . Something around 3% error is pretty common in polls. Out of a listing of nine questions, the answers are more similar across Biden vs Trump voters than the two groups being very different, but it’s not a big margin, 5:4 (no number crunching done, just eyeballing them).

   Your bar graph shows it, but the Atlantic and Mail screen capture jpegs imply it’s only conservatives that feel this way.

   There are more areas where both parties are pretty similar in outlook than than that. A majority of Trump voters somewhat agreed with several big government measures, “investing in” pre-K education (59%) or rural broadband (74%) and national paid family leave (52%). It gets worse. 82% of Trump voters said we should have a stronger president, which implies getting rid of constitutional balance of powers. That got 62% of Biden voters. 44% of Trump vs 46% of Biden voters say it would be better if the president could do more without having to deal with congress or the courts. That’s another example of both groups being almost identical.

9. What the heck – I’ll make a black swan prediction. If the Chinese button factory that makes 80% of the world’s buttons gets caught up in the rolling blackouts it directly impacts all the clothing manufacturers and retailers. If the average Joe suddenly can’t buy a shirt (or jeans) at Walmart it’ll trigger awareness that the entire logistical chain is hosed. Odd trigger but these are strange days. Happy to be wrong but that seems to be a”best case” trigger compared with some of the other options.

11. One of the best CW sources is the book “Civil War 2″ by Thomas Chittum. He served in 3 different Civil Wars (Vietnam, Rhodesia, Croatia) so he knows first-hand what to look for. The book was written in the early-mid 90s yet it has fairly accurately predicted much of what is happening. A few snippets of his checklist:

    Let’s summarize some of the key factors which will measure our march toward Civil War II. Concerned individuals are invited to watch for their development. The events of this checklist are in no particular order of importance or sequence of occurrence. Some have already occurred to some degree, but should be monitored for further growth.

    Item 1: If the racial tattooing of ethnic classifications on ID cards and other documents persists, we’ll know the countdown clock is ticking. Every time you see a blank for your ethnic group on a form, think Civil War II.

Then the powers that be have only to pay off the leaders of these favored groups, a relatively easy task. Every time you hear the racist euphemism affirmative action, think Civil War II.

    Item 10: Watch for non-governmental organizations acquiring military power. As we are increasingly losing our common identity as Americans, people are increasingly turning to alternate sources of psychological fulfillment and the increasingly necessary military protection that such organizations are extending. The Waco cult, street gangs, the Nation of Islam, and white militias are all partly manifestations of this trend. Some of these groups will be militarily crushed by the government, while others will be tolerated or even subsidized as their assigned tier in the multiethnic American Empire dictates.
    The recent tragedy in Waco was an example of the crush, and the granting of 20 million dollars in security guard contracts by the Department of Housing and Urban Development to the Nation of Islam (The New York Post, March 24,1995. Ed Koch column in Editorial) is an example of the subsidize side of this policy.

    Item 11: Watch for real political power to continue to shift from our elected officials to the courts, and thus away from the American people.

The first casualties were those not willing to follow the mandates of a tyrannical government, refused to play by all the new rules, and had their lives destroyed by the government bureaucracies with the power of unreasonable regulations. It was successful, until the internet removed the iron grip of the propaganda allowed by the media. Unable to completely stop the flow of information, the Covid “pandemic” became the necessary tool to control the population, and the “vaccine” will probably kill more than any typical war.

       We cannot vote, since they that count really don’t care what we wish, the newest media reports state the feds will investigate those that dissent the progressive view of their school boards, and it doesn’t take much logic to realize the same agency is actively involved in insurrection. This is the successful tool to destroy the ability of citizens to assemble for redress of their grievances, since those willing for peaceful solutions are never completely sure if government “protesters” will incite violence to destroy those wanting to show their support for liberty.

       We are completely dependent on a form of communication completely controlled by the government. When there is enough in the government willing to take part in the subjugation of citizens, removing this form of communication will leave any effort to return the U.S. to a constitutional republic toothless and vulnerable.

       Yes, we’re at war, and foreign government are drooling over their share of the spoils. When you consider how one of the most powerful generals in the military is allowed to stay in their position after committing treason, the invasion at the southern border is happening unchecked, and access to public facilities is completely at the whim of bureaucrats, it doesn’t take much to realize how dire things have become.

       1. John, I think you should revisit your review of two years ago. I just read Mr. Chittum’s book, and I read your review, and there are some things that probably should be reassessed. In particular I think the ethnic gang situation should not be underestimated. Until I read his book I hadn’t even considered them as a significant part of the environment.

          Currently there are about 1.5 million gang members in the US, mostly organized along ethnic lines, all self supporting and armed. The Hispanic gangs are often cartel connected and backed. The FBI estimates that 1-2% of the armed forces are gang members. Gang members in the big Metropolitan Statistical Areas often outnumber the LEO by over 2:1.

          There are only about 700,000 LEO in the US at the state and local level. There are another 120,000 at the Federal level who are mostly armed for security purposes, not peace keeping.

          There are only about 75,000 total infantry in the Army, Marines, Reserves, and NG. The rest are logistics, maintenance, operations, etc.

          Looking at your highlighted list in your review, I didn’t see the CHAZ, or the attacks on police stations from the Antifa riots of 2020, of course. Things that happened afterwards. But certainly events meeting criteria Mr. Chittum called out as having specific significance.

          Your column on Civil War has been looking at this along a Left / Right split, but I think 1.5 million ruthless ethnic gang members would certainly be a wild card, particularly if the cartels back the Hispanic gangs with money and more weapons from across the border. If things go kinetic, they may go spectacularly sideways in directions even Mr. Chittum was unable to foresee.
