I figure once a year I’m due for a “not coming in for work today” day off.  All is well at home, everyone is healthy, and I’m not even that tired.  Just taking the day off.  Enjoy these memes I found.

  2. So John, your opening statement is what I call “calling in well.” That is to say, “Well, I don’t feel like coming in today.”

    1. Heh! I used the phrase, “I’m having vision difficulties, as in I don’t see why I should come in today.”

  4. The link is to an interview by Tim Pool about the Whitmer kidnapping plot. He interviews Brandon Caserta who says he was set up and charged but ultimately found not guilty. Also intervies a young woman investigating the incident. Of some interest is how there was a Michigan state capitol building incident much like the J6 incident, and the Detroit FBI person at the time was then moved to DC in time for J6.

  5. The daughter’s boyfriend’s Jeep blew up on I-16 near Pooler, GA. We drove through there on our way to ATL the day after it happened. Looked at it on our way back two days later. Just a 15-20′ long black burned spot around 10′ wide.

    1. I noticed that too. Math error or not, I’m just glad that Gen Z kids are trending more conservative. It wasn’t a huge margin for Gen Z, but people tend to become more conservative as the get older, particularly after they have to deal with taxes and parenting. So the gap will widen over time and maybe there is still hope for this country.

      A potential future topic for John … but what the hell happened that caused Millennials to be so much more liberal? Seems that Millennials and Gen Z both shared a similar upbringing in terms of being raised on technology. If anything, I would have expected Gen Z to be even more liberal given heavier social media influence, but something has clearly changed the dynamic.

      1. 1) They’re only slightly more conservative than the previous generation, among those who bother to vote.
        2) Most of them – the overwhelming majority – are wholly apathetic.

        3) Answer to your future post hypothetical:
        Previous generations had far more males attending colleges and universities, which are simply communist indoc centers supported by public funds.
        With Gen Z, males have said “F*** college!” to a degree unwitnessed since before the Wright Brothers learned to fly.

        There’s your answer:
        With a huge percentage of the demographic unindoctrinated with liberal rubbish, a slight majority are reverting to the historical mean.
        Leaving the blue-haired cat ladies to carry the torch for braindead socialism, following in the footsteps of Madame Defarge, Elinor Roosevelt, and the coven on The Spew, and standing as the strongest argument that can be made for revoking the 19th Amendment, while there’s still time.
