KASHERA looks like an East Charlotte HarrisTeeter employee. There are zero in West Charlotte. She’d never work at the Taj Mah-Teeter in SouthPerk.
For non-Southerners, Harris Teeter is a high end chain owned by Kroger. The Dickson Brothers sold out when Publix allocated $100MM to develop the Charlotte market. They’re 3rd Generation Augusta Members.
In Beaufort, SC our new HT store has a bar. It kicks the Publix across the streets a**. Busy all the time, and the large HT shopping carts have two loops for wine/beer bar glasses.
Ohhhh, buzzed shopping. We need that.
The memes are hitting tonight. Aside from being 100% Finn so I may actually be Hungolian, I legitimately have Champion International and Mead (remember the TrapperKeeper©?) on my resume along with 2 defunct forestry contractors, a restaurant, painting/remodelling biz, a hospital, a fabrication shop and a fiberglass shop that have all failed.
I’m like the Simo Häyhä of businesses small and large…
Ha! Great coincidence!!!!
The “hate has no home here” meme is spot on, but it also highlights just how little we understand about cognitive dissonance.
The brain has always had some capability for dealing with contradictory data, but it usually makes a person very uneasy until they resolve the incongruency. For liberals however, this never seems to happen. They have no problem, for example, using the “my body my choice” argument to justify abortion but you aren’t allowed to use the same argument to refuse the COVID vax. Notice that they can never provide a cogent argument as to why they hold such contradictory beliefs, which is why most resort to ad hominem attacks instead.
At the risk of sounding sexist, the data does seem to suggest that ability to ignore cognitive dissonance is more common in the female brain. White females are the only people who are still “true believers” in the contradictory policies on display in the Democratic party (or socialism for that matter). The few men they have left are usually feminine/gay/trans, or minorities who are only there for the free stuff.
Tomorrow’s post partially addresses this.
