Form The Line!

Spartans were known to be brief with their words, mainly because metal left a longer-lasting mark.  When getting ready for battle, it’s likely that the commander had to say only a single word.  Paratattein (παρατάττειν) is one likely command that Leonidas may have yelled out to prepare his men for battle at Thermopylae.

It’s simple in that laconic Spartan way, and it means, roughly, “Form the line.”  No bullshit.  No pretty-please.  No flowery prose.

“Form the line!”

Fast forwarding to yesterday . . .

“I just heard that Charlie Kirk was shot at an event in Utah.”

The text was from a good friend that I’d known for decades.  I checked it out:  /pol/ and X® were already on it.  It was true.

In our world, it’s not unusual to get real-life events in nearly real-time, if you know where to look.  /pol/, which does not shy away from unfiltered reality, had two videos – one from a distance, and then one from the fourth row.  The one from the fourth row was clear:  Charlie was dead nearly instantly.

The world changed with that shot.

Why Charlie Kirk?  Most readers here would consider Charlie a moderate voice on the Right.  He wasn’t edgy at all – you couldn’t even see the edge from most of his positions.  That’s mainly why I didn’t pay him much attention, he was a nice, normal guy with normal opinions.  He engaged in polite discourse with people and asked them to engage with ideas in a reasoned debate.

I honestly think he had a shot at the big prize:  being the president that came after the Great Tumult of Civil War 2.0 in 20 years or so, perhaps being the one that worked on reconciliation after the coming strife.

But this isn’t about me and what I believe.  It’s about you.  And that feeling you had yesterday?

That’s called passing the point of no return.

The GloboLeft foot soldiers consider you to be a Nazi.  You might be a Jew.  You might be a Christian.  You might be an atheist libertarian.  You might be any variety of the spectrum of beliefs of the TradRight.

To them, you are a Nazi.

And what do they want to do with Nazis?  Well, that’s clear.

There are certain subjects that I believe in that I don’t cover here, and that’s for a reason.  Never push people out of the tent who are on your side.  Never shoot Right.  The Right are generally much more able to live with people of differing opinions than the Left.  This is mainly due to the people on the Right having a belief system in a higher power, mainly Christianity.

Mainly.  The beauty of Christianity is that my faith doesn’t depend upon you believing any of what I believe.  An atheist believing in something else doesn’t shake my belief, at all.

This is not true of the GloboLeft.  They desperately need you to believe in them, not just obey them.  Communist regimes set up re-education camps, not compliance camps.  They need you to believe what they believe, no matter how often it changes.  They want you to hate what they hate, no matter how often it changes.  And love?  Love is replaced in their world by lust or greed.

So, yes, I skip topics that would divide us.  I see in the comments people who agree on 90% of things fighting each other for no particular reason.  Let me be clear:  you guys are people who the GloboLeft has already put into the same foxhole.

If you want to fight, fight them.  Enough with the damn purity spirals where we let minor differences divide us.  The point for that type of knitting circle bickering is over!  If you didn’t notice, the exclamation point on that sentence came spilling out in a gout of blood on September 10, 2025.

If they hated Charlie so bad that they had to kill him rather than talk with him, what do you think they’d do with you?

For thousands of years, the main structure for armed warfare was something like the Spartan phalanx, which morphed into the shield wall and Napoleon’s fighting squares and the position Lt. Chard set up at Rorke’s Drift.  These formations required discipline and trust in the comrade beside you.  You were, after all, fighting for your very survival against an enemy that saw you all the same.

Wake up.

That’s where we are, fighting for survival against an enemy that sees us all the same.  These people want you to die, preferably in the most degrading way possible.  They want your children to curse your memory and your values.

Let me emphasize the point:  WAKE THE FUCK UP.

Quit fighting each other over trivial crap when the consequences are having your children castrated and brainwashed.  You’re all in the same crosshairs with an enemy that won’t stop, and that includes every single moderate like Charlie Kirk, who they also despise.

Form the line!

  1. What do I think?

Charlie Kirk was a bridge-builder. He reached out and was incredibly effective at the retail-level.

The fact that the other side felt threatened enough to kill him was to intimidate other bridge-builders.

That articulates, more clearly than any prepared statements coming out of their mouths, that they are virulently opposed to reconciliation or healing. In spite of what they SAY, their actions foreshadow their intentions and actions.

    That is what I think.

    1. And hence why leftist post the “was it worth it Charlie” meme. The fools don’t understand his answer is a resounding YES!

  2. Time to exercise brains. The powers that BE snuffed him. Oh, they will blame some freak and all that but that was a Professional Hit with distraction teams (the old fool with his pants down) and a quick flight out of the area.

He started criticizing our “Greatest Ally” and almost before the crowd screamed Nutty tweeted about it.

The internet and AI are not your friends. F2F and folks you literally trust with your life circles here.

  3. The Kirk assassination does feel like we have crossed a point of no return. I think every political figure on both sides is realizing that if this could happen to Charlie, then it could now happen to them. Unfortunately, in watching some people celebrate and laugh about the murder, the celebrities are probably right to worry.

If the shooter is confirmed to be with trantifa, then hopefully this will galvanize the public to do something about transgender based mental illness.

  4. A way to start pushing back is to start posting “you killed Charlie Kirk” on all the far left sights. If this can be done on a mass scale it’s could impact the people on the fence who need to open their eyes.

      1. And that will help move the fence sitters over to our side. A lot of normies didnt sign up for murder and assassination.

      2. That started immediately. So did the reaction. A school board member where I live posted ‘Call me old fashioned, but I remember when we used to be okay with shooting Nazis’ in response to the shooting. Within a couple of hours the other 4 members of the board (also lefties) called for her resignation, along with the governor and all the local politicians. I suspect there are going to be a lot of ‘found outs’ in the next few days.

  5. Thanks John.
Your validation of my thoughts, while not necessary, are welcome.
It is comforting to know others see what is coming.
I spent 23 years watching society change while wearing a badge. It’s been a growing wave of hate that is ready to come crashing down.
Take care, brothers. I hope to are you on the other side…

  6. Religious people who cannot tolerate atheists and demand they close stores on Sunday etc. are imperial colonialists like the GloboLeft, they are just on a different team.

There is a word for the political attitude that doesn’t try to impose your church’s rules onto people who aren’t hurting you. That word is “libertarian”. The only neighbors who are peaceful and safe to live next to are libertarians. The libertarians next door could be conservative Christians; there there is no contradiction between how they personally live their lives and their foreign policy towards their neighbors.

    1. Libertarians would have us with completely open borders and the left unrestrained. Nothing but porn, drug use, sodomites and 3rd worlders everywhere. There’s only ever been 1 party that stopped the Jewish bankers, sodomites, liberalism and Bolshevick communism.

      1. > Libertarians would have us with completely open borders

You fear Americans can’t compete with workers from the rest of the world? You want to set up the USA like closed-borders Japan before the Perry Expedition, militarily uncompetitive and ripe for a Chinese Commodore Perry to conquer it? An iron curtain belongs to Communism, not Free Enterprise, and the USSR inside it was poor and miserable.

        > Nothing but porn, drug use, sodomites and 3rd worlders everywhere.

You fear normal Americans can’t compete with addicts? Do addictions make addicts more productive? Narcotics weren’t regulated in America until the Harrison Narcotics Tax Act of 1914. Were all Americans addicts before 1914?

        > and the left unrestrained.

The true political spectrum is about more or less central control. Libertarians and the GloboLeft are on opposite ends.

        1. “You fear Americans can’t compete with workers from the rest of the world?”
“You fear normal Americans can’t compete with addicts?”

Thank you for confirming everything bad we’ve ever said about “capital L” Libertarians.

        2. He doesn’t “fear” it, he’s telling you the status quo truth. Libertarians really are that way, they should be called liberaltarians, they’re more “permissive” that NYC Democrats. Americans cannot compete with government imposed restrictions impeding us from any kind of competition. We are not allowed to compete, because we always win!

    2. “Religious people who cannot tolerate atheists and demand they close stores on Sunday etc. are imperial colonialists like the GloboLeft, they are just on a different team.”

Maybe it’s because I live in the deep south, but the only Religious people I know of doing that are the Muslims. In Texas, of all places. AFAIK, all of the Christian business owners, like the general population ourselves, close or don’t close depending on what they feel like and don’t push anyone else.

  7. John – – Thanks for the sanity and direction in this missive. Perhaps the following will assist in that regard:

“The most terrifying force of death, comes from the hands of Men who wanted to be left Alone. They try, so very hard, to mind their own business and provide for themselves and those they love.

“They resist every impulse to fight back, knowing the forced and permanent change of life that will come from it. They know, that the moment they fight back their lives as they have lived them, are over.

“The moment the Men who wanted to be left alone are forced to fight back, it is a form of suicide. They are literally killing off who they used to be. Which is why, when forced to take up violence, these Men who wanted to be left alone, fight with unholy vengeance against those who murdered their former lives. They fight with raw hate, and a drive that cannot be fathomed by those who are merely play-acting at politics and terror.

“TRUE TERROR will arrive at these people’s door, and they will cry, scream, and beg for mercy… but it will fall upon the deaf ears of the Men who just wanted to be left alone.”

  8. It was in the late ’90s, when I lived in W-S, NC. Jesse Helms had a minor heart attack, and a gay lib I knew was sitting at the other end of the bar. He said laughingly, “I hope he dies”.

I called him an a-hole. He sorta apologized.

No way that’d happen today. And it’s time to punch someone like that in the face and get banned from the restaurant.

  9. This is yet another fight that is going to pit brother against brother, another White-on-White war, and that is just tragic. Legacy Americans lose, no matter what. Divide and conquer has been a winning strategy for millennia and it is working against us again, despite having eyes wide open.

I am about to lose contact, if it hasn’t happened yet, with a sizeable component of my own family over this latest leftist outrage. Things had been tense for years already, beginning way back in those comparatively innocent Trayvon Martin days. It started with the (female) literal school marms who married into my line, their big, bleeding hearts just dripping for the poor, downtrodden and oppressed and the ‘dreamers’ who only invade our shores in search of a better life (on your dime). Their luxury beliefs, trumpeted loudly from behind the walls of their safe, insular gated communities, put them at odds with me and a few others of the clan, and never the twain shall meet.

It’s always the women, their weak men following meekly. Their desperate craving for attention and approval, combined with an iron-clad belief in the righteousness of their stances, has made rational discussion and exchange of ideas with them impossible. There won’t be any gunfire (I hope) but they have shut out any possibility of accommodation just like a trantifa devil silencing Charlie Kirk with a bullet to the neck.

Thanksgiving dinner is going to be a sparsely attended affair at Chez Harbinger this November for the first time ever. I honestly don’t think I’ll be seeing a few family members again.

    #JeSuisCharlie

    1. They weren’t worth your time in the first place. Leftist are really grifters that lump the other nonsense in to ensure their freebies. I’ll beat not one of those women had a real job of any value.

    2. Already happened in my family, and gets worse every year. The harpies show up, and their men just sulk, or go out on the back porch to smoke, or have a drink. It seems the supply of real men is running low, just at the time they’re needed most. One of the few fun things to watch, will be the Karens and harpies running for safety when it hits the fan.

  10. I think there are too many out there that don’t realize there are a lot of people that firmly believe it’s a natural reaction to try to kill those that try to kill them. It’s like tormenting animals in a zoo. It’s all fun, until you realize they aren’t restrained by the bars.

  11. You’re not wrong, JW.
But cat herding has poor career prospects.

Cry “havoc!” and let loose the dogs of war!
Making Democommunists the 21st century Tutsis for a couple of months would be a salutary colonic for the body politic.
Bonus points if machetes are used.
Triple bonus if severed heads are used as public ornaments and decoration.
Let the Left get exactly that for which they’ve begged for years, good and hard.

And all the kumbayah “Violence is not the answer” nonsense platitudes from the soy boys is just spackling over the problem. They’re the guys advocating negotiating with Japan on December 8th, 1941.

Violence is the worst answer, except for all the non-violent versions.
But some people just need a heap o’ killin’.
And it’s worth noting that afterwards, their recidivism stays at 0%, on an infinite timeline.

Viiolence ought to be tried, on that basis alone, and served up red in tooth and claw.
Make it so bad that any happy and accidental survivors will recoil at the thought for a hundred years or more.
And so bad that those spared what they have coming can be counted on one’s fingers and toes, if not one’s thumbs.

  12. As an atheist, I don’t agree with believers on matters of faith (obviously), but I stand shoulder to shoulder with patriots of any stripe who are willing to fight for liberty, freedom of speech, the rule of law, self defense, property rights, individual autonomy and –yes– freedom of religion.

The Catholic schoolchildren in Minnesota did not deserve what happened to them; neither did Iryna Zarutska; nor did Charlie Kirk, or the many others who have been the victims of Leftist/Communist violence over the last couple decades.

  13. There’s a clear historical analogy to your point about bickering over minor issues. My high school history teacher — one of the few really sharp ones — used to illustrate this with the story of Rome.

At its height, the Roman Empire was an unstoppable force, spreading across Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East. When they turned northward, they easily subdued what is now England and Wales. But in Scotland they met fierce resistance from the Picts, who defended their homeland with such determination that the Romans built Hadrian’s Wall across northern England to mark the frontier. A later attempt to push even farther north led to the Antonine Wall across southern Scotland — but the Scots said to hell with that and drove them off Scotland.

The Picts and early Scots successfully resisted Rome, but unity didn’t last forever. Later Norse invasions and internal rivalries weakened them. By the late Middle Ages, the English crown discovered it could gain influence not just through armies, but by exploiting Scottish divisions — promises, bribes, and petty disputes. This political maneuvering culminated in the Union of the Crowns in 1603, when the fake joint king was crowned, James, VI of Scotland and James I of England. While this was presented as a partnership, in practice Scotland often bore the brunt of taxation and unequal treatment.

The lesson here is clear: the Picts once stood united against the greatest military machine of their age, but division from within proved far more damaging in the long run.

So yes, conservatives are losing a war and we aren’t even fighting the enemy. Utopia may not exist, but it certain can destroy.

  14. John, I think faith in the “justice system” was lost long ago, and this latest atrocity will make a mockery of it. Watch this piece of excrement walk, aided by the scum who think murderers and rapists and the lot should get “treated” instead of ended. People can scream death penalty from the rooftops, but this garbage will not get what he deserves.
