No Mask? No Problem. We’ll Just Reeducate You.

“John Spartan, you are fined one credit for a violation of the Verbal Morality Statute.” – Demolition Man

LECH

2020 has me so confused.  Do I need a mask or a brick to enter a store?

The Chinese Flu has been devastating for our culture in many ways.  The biggest impact is certainly economic.  But it has also brought out divisions in our society that (primarily) people on the Left are set to exploit.  The riots have been awful, and in fact so bad that the early positive sentiments that Marxist Black Lives Matter® are eroding.  Thankfully, the cops have now found out the easiest way to break up a BLM©/PantiFa™ riot – pass out job applications.

One controversy that thankfully hasn’t come to Modern Mayberry is mask wearing.  I’ve decided firmly to not decide on wearing masks.  Do I wear one?  No, because it’s silly in a county where nobody has Shanghai Lung Rot.  Besides, masks make me sweat like an NFL® player asked to solve a quadratic equation.  Heck, one night during the pandemic I woke up with the sweats.  I worried until I changed out to jeans.

In Wal-Mart®, about one out of ten people wear a mask.  In the restaurants?  Zero.  I’ve seen fast food employees wearing them, but most of the time their noses aren’t covered, so the masks serve as, um, I guess spit deflectors and an excuse to not shave?

JOHO

The most Progressive thing about Joe Biden is his dementia.

I’ve seen horrible arguments on each side, and good arguments on each side, but pretty close to zero science on either side along with data corrupted enough to be Obama’s attorney general, so I say:

Whatever.  I don’t care.  Please don’t try to convince me in the comments.  I love you all, but the mask battle is just a distraction as our government prints more money than Joe Biden has active brain cells every week.

Sometimes, though, the Leftists tell you what they really want.  The biggest traitors in the Current Year have been our so-called intellectual elite.  On August 10, Johns Hopkins™ tweeted® the amazingly horrific tweet© shown below:

HOPKINS

But Joseph Stalin and the KGB both gave it two thumbs up.

At some point an adult at Johns Hopkins© became aware of the tweet™, and wisely deleted it.  The article it’s based on is here (LINK).  It’s actually more frightening than anything that PantiFa™ has done, since I think the average group of PantiFa© “warriors” could be taken down by the toddler soccer club here in Modern Mayberry.  I mean, those kids can hit hard if they don’t like their juice box flavor at half time.

The article is horrific.  Parker Crutchfield, Associate Professor Butthead of Medical Ethics(?), Humanities and Law at Western Michigan University (his contact information is here LINK) suggested that the best way of stopping WuhanFluhan is to secretly drug the population so they become willing sheep that will do anything authorities suggest.

I’m not making this up.  Not even a little.

Here’s the direct quote:

“Another challenge is that the defectors who need moral enhancement are also the least likely to sign up for it. As some have argued, a solution would be to make moral enhancement compulsory or administer it secretly, perhaps via the water supply.” (emphasis added)

PARKER

This guy advocates drugging the population – it’s so bad that mermaids are addicted to seaweed.

His final paragraph is the most chilling:

“The scenario in which the government forces an immunity booster upon everyone is plausible. And the military has been forcing enhancements like vaccines or “uppers” upon soldiers for a long time. The scenario in which the government forces a morality booster upon everyone is far-fetched. But a strategy like this one could be a way out of this pandemic, a future outbreak or the suffering associated with climate change. That’s why we should be thinking of it now.”  (emphasis added)

Again, this is a “professor” who is supposed to teach ethics.  I’m just wondering what ethical system allows drugging the population to make them do what you want?  I think Stalin would have nodded approvingly, especially since this is exactly what Huxley described in Brave New World.

The fact that an idiot born from a crazed mother in an insane asylum (I made that part up, but it fits) named Parker Crutchfield, who is being paid for by Michigan tax dollars to argue for the chemical mental enslavement of people he doesn’t agree with secretly via the water supply exists?  If anyone told me that, I’d call it a crazy conspiracy theory.  But I read the article.  It’s there.  You know, the article that Johns Hopkins© Tweeted™?

MICH

Umm, anyone notice she’s not wearing a facemask?  Heck, I’d buy her a whole paper bag so we didn’t have to see her face.

I was listening to Scott Adams’ podcast the other day, and he mentioned that it’s a psychological trait of people to use language that shows what they’re really thinking – when Obama talked about Biden’s selection of Kamala Harris, Obama said, “Joe nailed it.”

Adams made the point that “nail” in this case reminded him of a “coffin nail” which indicated that Joe would only serve for a short time before Kamala took over.  Parker Crutchfield’s imbecilic writing is far less subtle.  He is openly arguing for the government to secretly drug Americans by force to make them compliant.  Beyond that, the drug must meet Parker Crutchfield’s ideological specifications – he’d love to dose you with oxytocin.

Sadly for Parker Crutchfield, he notes that oxytocin increases compliance but it also increases ethnocentrism.  Ethnocentrism is a love of your own people.  I guess that’s a drawback for Parker Crutchfield, since an ethnocentristic United States would be cohesive and centered around our culture, rather than pretending that every culture that drifts in produces equal results.

How can you have PantiFa™ if you don’t think that murderous cannibal tribes are exactly the same as your local optometrist who belongs to the Chamber of Commerce®?

All it takes for Parker Crutchfield is a chemical that produces your submission and doesn’t make you love your country and other people like you.  He’d then not only be fine with injecting it into the water supply, he’d probably pour it in himself.

ETHNO

Parker Crutchfield did not approve of this image.

Corona-Chan has been bad, but not in deaths.  The death rate appears to be trending towards less than 1%, perhaps far less than 1% since millions may have had it that have never been tested.  But the median age of someone dying from COVID-19 seems to be nearly 80.  That means that catching the Chinese Virus increases your life expectancy by two years, since the average age of death in the United States is 78.

Reality?  Coronavirus is mainly killing old folks.  If you’re 80, stay home if you want to.  Take precautions.  Don’t lick doorknobs on public restrooms.  Don’t drink the toilet water no matter how cool and refreshing it looks.

I rarely hope that bad things happen to people.  Really.  It’s not my job.  I’m a happy guy.  But I’d love to see Parker Crutchfield’s only employment opportunity being sanitizing carts with his tongue at your local Wal-Mart™ after taking the massive doses of oxytocin to make him ethnocentric.  At least he won’t poison any young minds that way.

And Michigan, seriously?  What are you guys thinking?

  1. The Left is intent on making a Brave New World, populated by the New Soviet Man/Woman/Thing.

  2. Only one other time has this two party system forced me to abstain from voting. Just as I could not vote for a known Con man last time I certainly also could not vote for Hillary either…so I voted for Johnson , knowing full well it was a wasted vote. Yet we still ended up with a real Dick as POTUS…
The time I did not vote was in 2000…both choices being really bad, and no viable third choice. Bad things happened after that selection process.
Now we have Joe choosing Camel toe as his running mate. I cannot vote that ticket !
Our other choice being the freaking Anti Christ himself !

Yup , gonna just stay home this election. Either way it goes will be equally bad juju…

    1. I voted for Johnson in 2016 and 2012 but no way I am doing that again, not with Open Borders Jo Jorgensen. I will vote Trump just to give the middle finger to the Marxists, not because I think he is a decent person or will do anything.

      1. Gary “libertarian-ism means the government forcing you to bake a gay wedding cake” Johnson? Why would anyone vote for a libertarian who thinks the key tenet of libertarian-ism is government authority?

      2. I hear ya Arthur. Same here , if Johnson were running again I would vote for him once more.
The way I’m seeing Trump, he is just as much a socialist about throwing money out there. Plus as a former Army Ranger it sickens me to hear that draft dodger brag about his patriotism.
I cannot nor ever will vote the lessor of evils.

      3. As pagan governors go, Mr. Trump is okay. He shamelessly patronizes the heterae, but condemns and attempts to tear down the child brothels. He keeps his “deal” to be a “conservative” so we get decent judge appointments, relief from having to make bloody infant sacrifice to Moloch for the Little Sisters of the Poor, and so on. He makes no bones about “our” country being “the best” and wheels and deals to get things to favor U.S. citizens over others. He writes executive orders that require removing two regulations for any one that gets added. Applying actual federalism in the assorted national crises, etc. The man has no clue that “conservatism” is bankrupt, and ruling as one wins him few friends. And the ego-! Very NOKD.

Like I said: pretty good pagan. Definitely better than the whited-sepulchres LARPing virtue that the establishment parties run.

Of course, a stern fire-breather, smart and capable; a take-no-prisoners Christian warrior like my dad, a man of unimpeachable virtue, would be so much better. But this is a representative democracy, and who is left for such a man to represent?

Mr. Trump is a better man than the citizenry of the United States deserves.

  3. Unbelievable… Even more sad is how many people will read this and agree with him.

  4. There are worse things to put in the food / water supply than happy drugs. There is a whole new field of biowarfare opening up using self-replicating proteins called prions. Here’s a post on the topic from the official US Army Mad Scientist website (yes, that’s an official place worth exploring well beyond Blog Post 143 linked below…)

    https://madsciblog.tradoc.army.mil/143-dead-deer-and-mad-cows-and-humans-oh-my/

This whole line of prion research got started when Britain accidentally declared biowar on itself back in the 1980s. It was a very scary time, there were secret government estimates that 100s of thousands of people were going to die instead of the eventual 177.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_Kingdom_BSE_outbreak

Bottom line, if you deliberately infect an enemy’s food chain with prions you can wipe out that nation if you are patient enough to let it spread and develop, which can take years.

The key thing about prions is that lethal doses of them are present in infected food at such incredibly minute quantities that they are completely undetectable by lab analysis, unlike happy drug dosages in the water supply which could easily be found by gas chromatograph / mass spectrometer (GC/MS) analysis. Prion dosages are measured in “individual number of molecules present”, not “milligrams” (which represent billions of billions etc of molecules). So prions are the “perfect” covert way of killing somebody – an undetectable biological poison. Happy drugs in the water / any non-biological poison agent has to be present in the full ingestible dose which is a level easily detectable in a lab. Prions only have to be ingested as a few individual protein molecules and your body duplicates and amplifies them in the brain into the required fatal dose. This low dose / covert nature is technically also true of viruses as well, but viruses have DNA that can be amplified artificially outside the body in the lab by the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) as a means of detection. Prions are pure protein chains with no DNA so PCR is not an analysis method that can detect them as a contaminant.

Around ten years ago I wrote up and submitted to a defense security conference a two-page presentation proposal warning of the use of salt factories as a potential entry point for prionic warfare. Salt is used as an ingredient in every form of food consumed in a country, and supplementation of salt by iodine and iron is already in worldwide use as a proven method of population ingestion of desirable substances. (See https://www.npr.org/sections/goatsandsoda/2019/11/15/779680412/could-hidden-hunger-be-conquered-with-a-particle-the-size-of-a-grain-of-salt ) Salt is produced in a very few factories that could be easily compromised by infiltrating workers – in fact I used to frequently pass one of these (relatively small) factories just outside Salt Lake City on my many trips to the US Army’s Dugway Proving Grounds. I did some calculations and showed that a mere five pounds of prion powder spread into the US salt supply would be enough to infect the entire US population over the course of a single year. Five pounds is a trivial amount to produce using genetically engineered yeast in a single bioreactor / fermenter in your mom’s basement. But to go off on the scary non-state proliferation aspects of prion technology is to digress…

My paper wasn’t accepted for the defense conference. Maybe it would be a good novel. Let’s just hope that Homeland Security is bright enough to “see the light” that future warfare isn’t going to be a pretty sight.

    1. Dang mate. You’d be fun at a BBQ if we could still have Barbies.

Seriously though. That’s the stuff of nightmares. Time preference is an incredible thing. My favourite long time preference nation wrecker is Feminism. Unfortunately that’s a virus that escapes and wrecks everywhere it infects and unfortunately x2 we’re in a global world now so that everywhere is, well everywhere. Ah, well, at least we (successfully faked) walked on the moon.

      1. Feminism is baked into the Anglo half (2/3, really) of the U.S. culture. Read The Scarlet Letter of you doubt me. The Seneca Falls Declaration (a thoroughly dishonest document that the Daughter Product dissected last year) was written by pure quill heritage Americans. Only the German influence counters it naturally, and that culture is very much on the wane.

But like the sons and daughters of Abraham and Sarah, that thread of humanity gets along pretty well with the Old Republic, so long as said republic is made up of thorough-going Christians. Once the merciful hand of God lifts, and leaves us to our own devices, we end up with blue-haired cat ladies bragging about using tiny little dismembered infant bodies assustainable bio-fuels.

    2. Okay, that’s really dark. I even recall a Stephen King short about a similar thing. Prions are scary, because they’re hard to destroy, too.

  5. John:

Thanks for putting this out there.

If you haven’t gotten enough of this idea, read Walker Percy’s “The Thanatos Syndrome” for a fictional portrayal of social-engineering-via-municipal-water. God help us!

  6. This is EVIL! Thanks John for finding this piece and sharing it . I will share it everywhere. Horrifying!

  7. I’m not tryin to convince anybody of anything – I’m just gonna throw out a link to a PDF of a good scientific study on the relative effectiveness of masks, and jump back into my foxhole.

    https://advances.sciencemag.org/content/early/2020/08/07/sciadv.abd3083/tab-pdf

If you wanna cut to the chase, it’s the pictures on page 7 and the graph on page 9.

Personally, I wear a mask. I’ve also stocked up on HCQ (and also the OTC alternatives of quercetin / EGCg to go with my zinc supplement tablets) for the inevitable day my wife and I need to take it immediately upon having symptoms of COVID-19.

    https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/opinion/hydroxychloroquine-works-in-high-risk-patients-and-saying-otherwise-is-dangerous

    https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2020-08-05/hydroxychloroquine-and-coronavirus

    https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2020-08-08/green-tea-zinc

So I am not following the Dem position of dissing HCQ, and I am not following the GOP position of dissing masks. I silently avoid people not wearing masks instead of arguing with them, every single time. And I sit with my back against the wall at my favorite corner Mex and breakfast restaurants – but then, I’ve ALWAYS done THAT.

I am just trying to maximize my odds of staying alive by using every tool available to me and covering all the bases.

    1. I’m with Mr. Wilder. The great Mask conflict is a trick to keep you fighting each other and not your real enemy.

Remember: So long as the Powers that Be are shoving Wuhan Gurgling Death patients into nursing homes, keeping the airports and train lines running to and from viral death hotspots, and encouraging free-range vagrants, and mass gatherings of careless young people for Peaceful Protests(TM) you and your neighbors’ mask-wearing is utterly irrelevant. You do not have control of this. At all.

Wash your hands. Often. Thoroughly. Do NOT touch your face. If you have the care of a very elderly loved one, and have to go out into the world, do NOT kid yourself that those people wearing half-assed masks are not infecting you, should they be carriers of the Commie Herpes. Make your will, say your prayers, and go live your life. There’s work to do.

  8. John – There’s so much sense in your “mask” position. Public Health is not a national issue; it’s a local issue. Biden’s call for a “national mask law” shows what can happen when people look to the President for everything… maybe it’s because he doesn’t go home for August Recess like the elderly children who gather to insult each other under the Capitol dome. The left doesn’t seem to see the contradiction between “Trump’s not doing enough” and “Trump’s seizing too much power”.

According to JHU, my county has had over 24,000 cases, and at least 766 fatalities. So, even though I’m not fat, diabetic, elderly, or melanin-enhanced, I’m wearing a flannel face mask whenever I’m likely to meet anyone other than immediate family. But, that’s HERE, and different rules apply to different areas.

So, does anyone know what sort of water filter takes out “happy pills”? Maybe boiling can destroy it? Maybe I should set up a scheme for purifying my rain water, rather than try to purify the utility-supplied water? (I already use nothing but rainwater for my houseplants and garden seedlings.)

        1. Hyponatremia can be a concern with drinking distilled water, especially large quantities.

    1. Yeah, don’t get me started. If Trump had been pro-mask you probably wouldn’t see a Leftist wearing one.

It would probably depend on the chemical? That’s why The Mrs. sticks strictly with Scotch.

  9. I’m for freedom. Keep the economy open, should have never been closed anywhere.

Wear a mask, don’t wear a mask. I think there is some value in wearing a mask indoors with strangers, but I don’t like to see this as a wedge issue with my side.

I have some medical issues and am older, so I choose to wear a mask indoors only at places like the market, and I choose to hang out at home more often than before.
