Race, Culture, IQ, and Truth

“What do you call a lawyer with an IQ of 60?  Your Honor.” – Better Call Saul

I have never seen a picture that is more Swedish than the one above.  Whatever could the issue be?

Picture this: You’re at a family reunion, and Uncle Bob is still insisting in 2025 that the Vaxx is “safe and effective” and the only reason you don’t agree is that you don’t “trust the science”.  Everyone chuckles, pats him on the back, and passes the stuffing wondering if Bob is going to eat through is mask.  Harmless, right?  Remember, Bob gets a vote even though his relationship with the Truth is probably pretty tenuous.

The True, the Beautiful, and the Good are important.  They’re foundational to finding out things that are beneficial to society and, if you’re me, also things that are in-tune with God’s plan.

For decades, at least, the GloboLeft has been attempting to control the Narrative on everything from climate Armageddon (remember, the Arctic will be ice free by 2015!) to gender as a spectrum that includes, somehow, people putting on suits and pretending to be animals.

But the crown jewel of their obfuscation Olympics®?

The ironclad link between race, intellect, outcomes and cultures.  Why did they bury it under six feet of reinforced concrete?

Simple:  because admitting this torpedoes their “all cultures are equal” fairy tale.  Remember, the “Globo” in GloboLeft means that everything is the same, everywhere, right?  If they admit there are differences, poof:  there goes the vote farm.  Even more, it gives the TradRight rationale to exclude endless hordes of foreigners whose languages, cultures, and norms are more alien to our nation than creatures from the planet Zantar.

Ahh, France.

Let’s start with the basics, because facts don’t care about pronouns or participation trophies.

IQ, that dusty old metric the smart set loves to hate, is rocket fuel for a successful life.  On the individual level, folks clocking above 115 rake in 20-30% more dough over a lifetime, snag better jobs, and even divorce less.  Higher IQ means more planning.

But let’s zoom out to nations.  There, we find that IQ is a GDP cheat code.  Countries averaging 100+ IQ (think Japan at 106) boast per capita incomes north of $40,000, while those scraping 80 or below (hello, sub-Saharan squad) limp along at less than $2,000.

A one-point bump in national IQ?  That equates to a 7.8% GDP boost.  Smart nations are wealthy nations.

Mohammed, what a fine Danish name!

Now, the electric fence the GloboLeft guards with tasers: Racial IQ gaps. In the US, Japanese and Chinese are at 106, whites are average 100, Hispanics are half a standard deviation down around 90-93, and blacks are at 85, a full standard deviation below the norm.

These hold steady across decades, tests, and tweaks for socioeconomic fairy dust.  The same script holds for criminality:  FBI’s 2024 tallies show blacks (13% of population) accounting for 51.3% of murder arrests.

And, no.  Not all black people are low IQ murderers.  Thomas Sowell exists.

But the Truth is that there is a substantive and real distance when viewed in aggregate.  And it causes huge difficulties:  low IQ correlates with impulsivity, poor planning, and a higher “screw the consequences” factor.

Bring this up, thought, and the responses are, “You’re racist!” even though the facts are stubborn and won’t go away.  When confronted that these are persistent facts, the GloboLeft throws their Hail Mary:  “But muh root causes!  Poverty!  Systemic racism!  Colonialism’s ghost!  1619!”

And look what happens of you challenge the Narrative.  Watson said, [he was] “inherently gloomy about the prospect of Africa” because “all our social policies are based on the fact that their intelligence is the same as ours, where all the testing says, not really”.

It’s empathy porn, a verbal defibrillator to flatline any talk about the real facts.  Sure, environment nips at the edges.  Malnutrition might ding 5-10 IQ points, but when was the last time you saw a skinny poor person?  Malnutrition isn’t a factor.  Adopted black kids in white homes lag by a similar amount, the SAT scores from black kids from families at the highest income levels are lower than the SAT scores from white kids at the poorest levels.

This ain’t excusing; it’s enabling. Treating 30-year-olds like toddlers with excuses robs them of agency.  If we’re gonna nanny them via EBT (Entitled Belly Timers) or Section 8 (Subsidized Shackles for the Aimless), fine.  But adults get adult rules and toddlers get toddler rules. How about:  no voting if you’re on the dole?  SNAP’s 41.7 million users are 37% White, 26% Black, 16% Hispanic.

Why let chronic takers tank the makers?

This isn’t cruelty; it’s consistency.  Benefit takers will always vote for people who promise more benefits.  And, it’s a voluntary condition.  Want to vote?  Get off the benefits for two years.

Oh, wait . . .

The next lie, though is that all cultures are interchangeable widgets.  We can swap them all like IKEA parts, and voila: Utopia!

Spoiler: Nope.

Cultures aren’t blank slates; they’re downstream from the people who make them.  Those people are downstream from their genes. India’s a case study in spicy chaos: 1.4 billion souls with an average IQ ~82.

The result?

A subcontinent of smog-choked streets, bribe-fueled bureaucracy, and a GDP per capita scraping $2,500.  No one’s fleeing Toronto for Mumbai. Now, Trudeau set Canada on a curry bender:  they imported 500,000 Indians yearly, turning Tim Hortons® into Pooh Hut™.

The point was missed.  If you replace every Canuck with a subcontinental clone you don’t get Canada 2.0 that’s short, brown, and with no upper body strength, you get a frozen New New Delhi.

A society of polite hockey lovers?

Nah, just more potholes, poop in the streets, Singhs driving trucks into innocent families, and power cuts.

And bringing their best?  The top IQ in the United States (everyone above 130) is about 4.8 million people.  But India?

India has an average IQ of 82? Their 130+ IQ club shrinks to 0.02% a population of only 299,000 Indians.  The United States outproduces India 16-to-1 in geniuses, despite the headcount handicap.

Why import mediocrity when we’ve got homegrown innovation?

The world already has an India, why clone it in Cleveland?

Same script for Somalia’s sequel in St. Paul or Haiti’s remix in Springfield. Flood Minnesota with 100,000 East Africans (IQ ~68-70 nationally), and watch lutefisk disappear to some sort of piracy and theft – oh, wait, they’re already running scams?

Maybe they’ll start a dating app?  They could call it OK Stupid.

Politics is downstream of culture, culture is downstream from race.  The latter is a taboo subject, but it’s True.

Shoehorning Somalis into the Land of 10,000 Lakes doesn’t Americanize them, it Somali-fies the lakes.

Truth demands we say the unsayable:  America’s not a global hostel.  Those 8 billion “Americans who haven’t arrived yet”?  If America is an idea, they can have their ideas over there.

We’re a nation of pioneers, not parasites; inventors, not importers.  The GloboLeft’s borderless fever dream erodes that, swapping high-trust hardware stores for low-IQ hawala bazaars.  Result? Balkanized basket cases, where “diversity” means dialing 911 in five languages.

Look at the hate . . . one might call him a racist.  Me?  My new immigration policy would be “9 or 10? Let her in!”

I’m advocating adulthood:  face facts, fix what’s fixable, and quit pretending that we can make a hot dog bark because it has the word “dog” in its name.

“Why” simply doesn’t matter.  Fighting the root cause has proven to be a lost cause.  At our stage we have to deal with the symptoms.

The stakes are high.  If we don’t embrace Truth, the United States will end up exactly like those low-IQ nations:  begging for scraps while the elites jet around the globe.  I mean, it won’t be jets because they won’t have enough people smart enough to make jets.  But you get the point.

And Bob still gets to vote.

  1. Kick-ass post.

    Hopeless (maybe) problem.

The next 20 years are going to be absolute théâtre de merde.

    And then…

    1. Yes, no matter how it shakes out. The mask of civility will slip even further until it comes off completely.

  2. In a jury trial, the defendant is going to say they’re innocent. But the jury looks at the facts of behavior to determine what moral values would have decided to take those actions. Criminal behavior is usually an unforced error. In America where the vote is secret, the vote is the ultimate unforced error. In prior elections, you could have voted for Ron Paul for president. In this election, you could have written in any number of libertarians, instead of a TV game show host. You could have written in libertarians for all of Congress, you don’t need ballot access and you don’t need favorable media coverage. With more reputational risk you could organize recall elections at lower levels, and grand juries to charge spies and traitors. These existing legal mechanisms would solve the whole problem, and nobody has to commit even one act of lawlessness.

But that’s not what you’re doing. If only you had a little box you could type a few numbers into and talk to anyone in the first world, why, then you could organize to divide up the work!

  3. P-Tar here, calling in from the Upper Swamplands of the Wretched Hive of Scum and Villainy on the Potomac!

About 35 years ago as a young lad growing up in ’80’s PG County MD (wealthiest black population in the US, over 50% of our population), I asked this question in school: shouldn’t we test everyone for IQ and make policy decisions accordingly?

I said it was about meritocracy, not race. I was told that they didn’t want to know. They were afraid that proving that on average, black students had lower IQ’s than whites, would cause discrimination.

They wanted to pretend that it didn’t matter. I, being the top student in my class, knew well that they weren’t contributors to group projects. They also pushed me to copy my answers on tests. I told them to fuck off and learn, or fail, if they couldn’t hack it on their own.

Consistently they wanted the benefits of merit without putting in the work. I pointed out that reality doesn’t care what about your feelings, and wrong math answers led to collapsing bridges and machines that don’t work.

Fun side story: the top athlete in my 6th grade class (a black dude named Derrick) was furious when I utterly _destroyed_ him in a one-mile run on the last day of school (‘field day’).

Always picked last, and I _lapped_ his ass… Twice. He tried to kick me as I passed, I laughed at him and kept jogging. The coach pointed out that heart and determination trumps talent in an endurance race.

That’s what life is: an endurance race. That’s why we’ll win. Reality DFAG about anyone’s feels. Reality DGAF about your grievances. Suck it up and haul the freight, or get left in the dust of those who do.

    1. That pushback actually led to IQ tests being made illegal for hiring. Think of all the saved tuition dollars if those were allowed!

      1. Denying employment for scoring too low on an IQ test was declared illegal in Griggs v Duke Power.

Denying employment (or was it “only”) a promotion for scoring too HIGH was upheld in Jordan v City of New London.

(Same City of New London as in the Kelo decision. Must be something in the water.)

  4. It isn’t just libtards who don’t understand this, many normiecons think that the problem is just “culture” while steadfastly refusing to recognize that those awful cultures are the product of genetics. You can’t fix culture because you can’t overcome biology and that means that you can’t maintain a society built by White people with people who have sub-Forrest Gump IQs.

    1. Hey, Art! Natural / artificial selection is a Hell of a game changer when it comes to genetics! We should remember that most of the problem is concentrated in urban areas.

Those urban environments have artificially high carrying capacities due to inputs from rural areas (food, clean water, raw materials). Much of their existing infrastructure is on the verge of collapse as it is.

A currency crisis, or Leftoid revolution spasm, will isolate those cities. Unchecked violence, looting etc will drive out the competent and resourceful. The abandoned dregs will declare ‘victory’, consume what’s left, and suddenly realize they’re starving and no place or skills to grow enough food.

Smart outlying rural areas will set up roadblocks, check points, blow bridges, etc. Nobody will drive trucks of supplies into Hell for these degenerates. Famine and Pestilence are the high score champions of the Four Horsemen. War just gets the ball rolling…

Not smart enough to plan for future hardship? Congratulations, you just got selected out of the gene pool: here’s your Darwin Award!

Gonna suck for a while before it gets better. Let’s just make sure we learn from our mistakes and don’t subsidize failure anymore.

    2. I do think culture plays a role, at least on the higher IQ end of the spectrum. If your country has a 70 avg IQ, then yeah, running water is probably a luxury and you aren’t going to change that. But if you are at 100+ average IQ, then the IQ metric breaks down as a predictor of success and culture matters a lot more.

Case in point, invention and innovation. Something like 95% of all major inventions derived from a geographic triangle that goes from the UK to Scandinavia and then downward to Italy. Now look at the East. They haven’t had a meaningful invention since the Qin dynasty in China despite their IQ’s being same or higher than the West. Even today, everything they produce derives from Western technology that they borrowed /stole.

So is this innovation gap cultural or something else? I’ve worked alongside quite a few Asian scientists over the years and it was clear that for most, their brains just weren’t wired for innovation. Many are aware of this limitation as some of my fellow grad students told me they were trying to be “more Western” in their scientific approach to break out of this constraint.

I think this innovation gap is mostly cultural and brought on by the overwhelming desire to force excellence (e.g. tiger parenting). Forcing kids to study and rote memorize constantly is great if you want to excel at standardized tests and get into a good college. But it is not the path you take if you want to be a creative problem solver.

Ironically, most of the best inventors I’ve known grew up on family farms. They didn’t have time to study or rote memorize spelling words, but they did get exposed to problem solving at an early age (and had to wear a lot of different hats on the farm, thus teaching them a lot of very useful skills). The US used to do well at finding these rural prodigies and getting them the right opportunities but those days are long gone.

      1. Agreed. Our engineering group established that farm boys and shade tree mechanicals made the best engineers, if you wanted something done right. Maybe why Ga Tech produces by far the best engineers.

      2. Now look at the East. They haven’t had a meaningful invention since the Qin dynasty in China…

That might have been deliberate. We introduce new tech (phones, electric lights, cars…) and our society wobbles for decades while it tries to adapt. Meanwhile, here comes computers, internet, AI…

Humans got an itch to cross Big Ocean in the 1400’s. China did too; they built ships that dwarfed Columbus’ li’l boats, and beat him to it by, like, 80 years.

They looked around and decided that the outside world had nothing China needed, and plenty it didn’t. They had a stable system; why mess with it? They burned their exploratory fleet, and patted themselves on the back for their shrewdness for the next 400 years or so.

        Until the Brits showed up.

    3. It causes the Mr. Smith effect. They have to pretend they didn’t hear it and revert to factory settings.

  5. The death of the US commenced in January 1970 when forced integration of public schools was enforced. It has been 3 generations of slow, steady (and planned) decline. Hence the lower IQ article, probably written by an Ivy grad.

Did lots of contracting in Section 8 multi-family for around 15 years in the Southeast. Finally walked away in 2019 out of disgust. 60″ TVs, used Mercedes, tons of toys for the children, etc. But horrible housekeeping. Groups of “20ish males” loitering around. Quit asking if any of them would want $20 for an hour’s work doing demo. No takers, except for older men in their 50s.

These people are parasites, period. And when the host dies, they die. It’s inevitable. Hopefully that’s before I croak.

    1. Yoi might want to croak first, The end is likely to be savage and cruel with no certain winner for a long time. Might have to fight the savages and thePowers that be and their minions at the same time.

      1. To Whom, etc. etc.

Google the Hart-Celler Immigration and Nationality Act of 1965.
        Get back to us.

        That’s not a smoking gun.
        It’s a smoking MLRS.

  6. An IQ of 100 is too low to run a first world civilization and Keep a Republic. Those people vote for Socialism, and then are astonished when it turns into Communism and they are dispossessed. If anyone reading here actually wants to be left alone, notice you are outnumbered by commies 10:1 and always will be, it’s dictated by IQ. Until you emigrate to the new frontier on Mars, I notice a smart phone has enough capacity to run your own individual copy of Silk Road. What if you all did that?

      1. I gave a train a try in Southern California, once. Although I had no actual “issue”, but the looks from the people that screamed, “you are a lunatic “. That taught me.
And the politic geniuses running the place thought that encouraging tourists to use the trains was a great idea. I wonder how many were “educated” during the LA Olympics?

        1. Yeah, I drove a rental Mustang next to Cabrini Green at midnight on a summer night. I did not stop for red lights after I figured out where I was. The cops did not pull me over.

  7. I have spent years arguing with conservatives on exactly this point. And there’s never argument in good faith. It always ends up at the same thought-stopping leftist words: “racist, white supremacist”. If American conservatives could address this in honest terms, we could change things. I think most of them understand it deep down, but they’re cowards.
    https://youtu.be/wOgWIE0U9Js

    1. How exactly is arguing going to change anything? The enemy is not going anywhere.

      1. If my car has a bad alternator, but I think it’s the starter motor over and repair or replace that over and over, will my car run right?

  8. Also, if more refugees looked like that, American women would be screaming at the top of their lungs to close the borders immediately.

On a related note, I heard Chicago is changing their sanctuary city policy, they now only give Hispanic women shelter. Also, they’re changing the name to ChicaStay.

  9. What we have here is a failure to communicate. The tares have been sewn among the wheat. You cannot talk reason to morons.

I read an article from a UK paper that said an academic had advised people not to read to their children because it would give them an unfair advantage. The UK is 3 feet ahead of us, and the Saxon had better begin to hate.

  10. What will this mean for the Swedish Bikini Team when the keffiyeh and burka (rags ‘n bags) swarm reach plurality in formerly-blonde Scandinavia?

Will no one think of the bikinis?!?

  11. Naomi should remember the Ukrainian girl in Charlotte and continue to be careful. The trains are badly safer here than in Dusseldorf

  12. Breeding low IQ children was too slow, so they immigrate what they need to establish a nation of functional idiots. To make things worse, these immigrants have a tendency to be violent. They consider thievery, honesty and integrity of no importance in a healthy society, so they disregard these things along with hygiene. A less polite society would have solved the problem with extreme prejudice.

    1. Patience, Grasshopper.

You can’t grow corn by pulling on it.
When the time is right, the fury will rise to a fulminant conflagration.
      Think Krakatoa.

      The trouble isn’t politeness.
The vintage wrath is simply not ripe yet.

  13. The Americans who have seen the handwriting on the wall have voted with their feet. A lot of them have ended up in my A/O, North Idaho. Prior to the 2024 election, I saw a meme on WRSA which described an evil ruler who would burn his country to the ground to stay in power and rule over the ashes. Just look at LA. Just look at what is about to happen in New Yawk. Just look at what is going on in Mordor-On-The-Potomac. These diabolical, power-mad political hacks are the embodiment of that meme. CWII is here, my friends. Plan accordingly.

  14. I suspect that the reason people with transparent (e.g., “white”, as if it was the color of paper) skin reside in higher latitudes is that their absorption of vitamin D from sunshine keeps them alive when respiratory illnesses kill the darker complected. Living at high latitudes means planning and investing to grow and store enough food and fuel to survive from one year to the next. I don’t understand why anyone would want to move to a high latitude, except to escape the company of those who live near the equator. Which is reason enough.

  15. One tiny quibble:

    Fat ≠ Well Nourished.

    I’m living proof of that.

Twice now my fat butt has had problems from not having enough of key nutrients. First it was vitamin D (and almost dying) second was B12 and losing a lot of cognitive functions.

I wasn’t getting enough of those from my food and now have to take supplements to make up for it.

There’s lots of fattening foods that don’t have the nutrition to make up those 5-10 lost IQ points and we don’t force people on the various welfare programs to buy only nutritious food. That 7-11 takes SNAP and EBT is a gigantic clue.
