The blind auditions, especially, struck a chord with me. (Pardon the pun…)
Same thing happened with police body cameras, standardized testing, etc. I just find it amusing that what it really highlights is that a lot of people aren’t looking for fairness so much as their preconceived notions being validated and their desired outcome achieved.
At least with the whole “equity” business they’ve started being honest about that.
