  1. I keep expecting an ‘accident’ to happen to Old Joe, most likely caused by a Trump supporter. Kamala could ride the sympathy tide to victory, particularly if she got someone more likeable on the back seat of the ticket.

I mentioned this to my college kid who hates both tickets. When I suggested that she might pick Bernie to ride the wave with her, his eyes lit up. Bad sign because he was R in high school and early college. Higher education is not our friend. Glad I’m not paying for grad school- welcome to the real world, buddy.

    1. The way developing human brains load themselves with facts about a world which they have not personally experienced much of yet, is they believe whatever adults tell them when they’re small children. The lesson that good stuff is produced by magic elves if you wish for it was taught with the story of Santa Claus. That collection of “facts” loaded in childhood won’t start being reexamined in the light of real world experience until after age 30.

Similarly for Christian middle class parents avoiding talking about money in a “Rich Dad, Poor Dad” manner, because their religion tells them knowledge is evil. Kids won’t be taught they should purchase things which produce money rather than consume it. If experienced generals talk about logistics, then Christian middle class parents raise their children to be ignorant cannon fodder.

    2. Bernie – it’s always the promise of the free stuff that gets ’em. Never the idea that the bill always, and I mean ALWAYS comes due.

  2. I didn’t watch the debate theater. My 13 year old daughter did & said it was a waste of time. I personally don’t like Trump (I could rant for hours) but I wouldn’t give the leftists the time of day. I don’t see this ‘election’ turning out any positive results. When Trump wins the leftists won’t accept it any more than they did in 2016 only now they have their merry band of domestic terrorists to send into the streets to start the next ‘civil’ war. If the leftists/deep state throw the election to Biden 80% of the country (the non-leftists) will kick off the next ‘civil’ war. With 80 million gun owners in this country and 120 guns for every 100 people in this country I think we should all get our popcorn poped and watch out for November.

There will never again be a peaceful transition of power after a Presidential election in this country. There’s nothing holding us together anymore. No common language, no common beliefs, no loyalty to our Constitution, hell there’s not even a common belief we’re all Americans. Sure as hell there’s no accountability anymore or even handed enforcement of ‘law’.

I think we’re watching folks putting “a fork in it” meaning the end of the dream. I think it’s time to plan for the next eventuality.

    1. I do think that if Trump wins the Justice Dept will double down on prosecutions of rioters. We will probably also (finally) see prosecutions from the internal investigations.

      1. I don’t know Hersolong. Don’t you think if there was anyone at DOJ who gave a hoot n hell about the ‘law’ they might have perp walked Hillary for espionage by now? How about enforce Title 22, Chapter 39, Subchapter III, Section § 2778 Arms Control Act (as it effects aid to Israel) or any of the other thousand laws that apply to the unwashed but not to the oligarchy. Nah. Nothing will change except the economic system/US dollar that may well head into the crapper… Popcorn, my friend. Popcorn and a few cold brews & watch the show. 🙂 Good luck!!

  3. Good Sir, I hope this day finds you well. While I watched the Debate last night, the thought that came to me was Joe appeared to be too on the ball. Too prepared. This caused me to wonder if some how, he was privy to the questions prior. It didn’t help the situation that people suspected he would be aided with a little voice in his ear, on top of the voices in his head.
Upon someone’s careful review of the tape, lo and behold, there was the aforementioned conduit for that little voice.

    1. Yup. I’m certain if they could do it, they did do it. Keep in mind frequency can be jammed or hijacked.

  4. I tried to watch the debate, but found it to be uninformative and unruly more like a mud wrestling match than a debate. I saw pictures this morning of Biden tucking a wire back under his jacket, but I am sure there is nothing to be seen there. The election will solve nothing no matter who wins as roughly half the country will never accept the outcome regardless. The American Empire isn’t declining. It has fallen and what we are witnessing is its final gasps for air. I am 67 years old and I miss the America I grew up in, but I knew years ago that it was long gone and is never coming back. It is not “welcome to the new normal”. Nothing will ever be “normal” again. Beans, band aides and bullets. And the more the better while you can still find some.

  5. Debate? The (s)election is already decided comrade. Komissarina Kamala the fierce warrior wymyns will build the glorious green nude eel worker’s utopia under a thousand Solyndra solar panels as the rainbow sun shines overhead and we sing hymns of praise to globalist pimps while riding our unicorns over to the magic cargo cult fountain.
    Forward! Yes we can.

    1. If the rulers were truly successful parasites, they would produce a steady state where their offspring always stay on top. They would NOT pursue magical fantasies which don’t work and don’t produce power or lifestyle increases for them. I think elite rulers are unable to teach their children kingsmanship, without revealing those truths more broadly and revealing to the middle class marks how the trick works. Instead elite children go to elite universities, which were set up to socially bind the upper-middle technicians with loyalty to the elite sociopaths. But at university the elites take the same classes, and learn gobbledegook intended to confuse and disempower the upper-middle class, which is competing with the elites.

  6. Now that it’s Sunday (after debate Tuesday night), and we know that Trump was diagnosed with coronavirus infection on Thursday, do ya suppose there’s a chance that he was already feeling a little bit under the weather before going out on stage? I can imagine his internal dialog: “maybe it’s just a regular headache. Can’t disrupt the process now. I’ll probably be fine in the morning. There’s no way I can not debate that guy tonight…”
