Biden’s Big Bluff

“You’ve got to know when to hold ‘em, know when to fold ‘em . . . .” – The Gambler

I bought dice, but they didn’t have the 2, 4, or 6 one either one. They are very odd.

This was originally going to be a post on another topic, but events have overtaken it. Again. Instead of getting a sidesplitting romp about a lighthearted subject, you’ll get sidesplitting romp about Biden’s (latest) Big Blunder.

I’ve never been that dedicated of a poker player, though my friends and I played quite a bit when I was in high school. I do recall one game way back then where I won a bayonet (an M8A1 with matching scabbard for you knife nerds) but lost a hand where I wagered a girlfriend.

Oh, and I also won $6.48, mainly in pennies.

I still have the bayonet.

One thing I did notice was that when I was winning, it became easier to bluff. I could bet on junk, but only if I’d won most of my hands up to the point I started bluffing with strong cards.

None of us were experienced poker players, so it was trial and error. I found that the bigger, more confident bet that I had made (after I was winning) the faster my friends would fold their hands, and the fewer bayonets and girlfriends I could win (or lose). But if I wanted to end a hand quickly, a big bet was what I would try to bluff my opponents into folding so I could win the pot.

Never trust a cheetah. They always try to pull a fast one.

Even with that small amount of experience, I can tell you that former vice-president Joseph Robinette (I guess his parents couldn’t afford a real Robin) Biden is bluffing.

And Biden is scared.

The withdrawal from Afghanistan was so poorly managed that it would be enough to charge Captain America® with treason. And that’s probably the best thing that happened to Biden in the last month, even though his recollection of the evacuation of Kabul might be dim and confused until they bring the flashcards out.

As bad as it was, Biden managed to make that national shame even worse. How much respect does he get from the American people when he checks his watch every time the coffin of a soldier goes by? Maybe he thinks there’s something on it, since he obviously doesn’t know what “not on my watch” means.

No, things have not been going well for the kid-toucher in chief.

This string of decisions so bad it makes Johnny Depp on a three-day drunk look as lucky as a chipmunk at a peanut convention. It’s bad enough that I imagine most of the senior White House staff are looking for jobs, or in some cases, countries that don’t extradite back to the United States.

I guess El Chapo would be used to high officials.

Through the art of remote viewing and making things up, I have an exact transcript from discussions among some of the members of Biden’s political strategy team last week:

Soulless Political Drone 1 (SPD1): “Okay, we’re down in the polls. What do we do?”

Soulless Political Drone 2 (SPD2): “It’s not so bad.”

SPD1: “No, it really is. Biden is now less popular than,” checks list, “having leprosy . . . on your genitals.”

SPD2: “Well, people kind of like leprosy nowadays. It grows on you. Besides, we know that there’s a floor to the number of people that will support him, though. The voters . . . .”

SPD1: “Voters? You do realize that most of those voters are copier machines we rented at Kinkos®, right? No. He’s lost the suburban soccer moms.”

SPD2: (shocked) “You mean he’s lost the support of the SSM? That’s a disaster! Our focus groups say they used to think of him,” checks focus data, “as category 74-b: ‘befuddled elderly relative that mostly means well but you wouldn’t leave alone with girls between the ages of six and twelve.’ What do the focus groups of Suburban Soccer Moms say now?”

SPD1: “Now they have him as a 93-w: ‘Creepy old man with degenerative brain disease who probably smells like week-old urine.’ Also, that he doesn’t care about Americans stuck in foreign countries and is . . . weak.”

SPD2: “Ouch. SSMs don’t like weak. Remember when all of them were having romantic dreams about Trump and Trump supporters?”

SPD1: “So, what do we do?”

SPD2: “Let’s do what we always do: trot out the kids. Let’s make a big fuss about COVID-19 not being safe for children, blame the unvaccinated.”

SPD1: “We’ve done that already. It’s getting a big yawn. We have to spice it up.”

SPD2: “We could have him do push-ups, maybe beat someone up? Think we could dig up Corn Pop?”

SPD1: “Do you even hear what you’re saying? You sound like Kamala when she’s off the sauce for a day. This is serious.”

SPD2: “Ok, serious face on. Ohhh, we could have a vaccine mandate. We could threaten the jobs of 100,000,000 or so people if they didn’t comply.”

SPD1: “What? How is that remotely Constitutional?”

(Both laugh. And laugh. And laugh.)

SPD1: “Whew. Constitutional. Still funny. But 100,000,000 people? How many of them are Biden voters?”

SPD2: (checks website) “2,113,210.”

SPD1: “Only 2,113,210? Out of 100,000,000?”

SPD2: “Well, after we were done with the counting.”

(Both laugh.)

Okay, that might not have been exactly the conversation, but it was close. Biden’s political advisors see that he’s as weak as vegan housecat. They have to think of something to distract the voting public and bring his poll numbers up.

  • His economic policies appear to consist of burning money to keep his supporters warm while importing future voters as fast as he can. Can’t use those.
  • It’s pretty certain that there are approximately seven people left that want to go bomb foreign countries for a distraction. Sending cruise missiles to blow up people in (spins board) Denmark is out.
  • Can’t get tough on trade with China – they have too much information on where Joe’s bank balance came from.

That leaves . . . the ‘Rona.

Thanks to Biden, a lot of people are going to be back on their feet again, since they can’t afford cars anymore.

I think the idea was to craft policies that appeal to the Suburban Soccer Mom while not impacting the SJW base. So, go after people with jobs and force them to take “the jab.” Suburban Soccer Moms will love it because it will leave little Cody or Colby or Colbee or Codi “safer” because the TV and Facebook® said so. SJWs are all about injectibles, and this has the added bonus of forcing people to do their will, which makes it just that easier to order them onto the trains.

A hospital in Houston fired 150 for not taking “the jab” – and every private business with over 100 employees will be forced to do the same. Yet Biden is exempting 600,000 Post Office employees. Why?

To lose the mail system would hurt his poll numbers.

Looks like everyone knew this was going to be a popular speech.

This is his big bluff. He’s nearly out of chips. All he has is one chance to try to redeem himself.

I guess it makes sense. I mean, nobody is going to accept Jill as collateral.

What to do?

Huh. I’ll see your bluff, and raise you “the loss of consent of the governed.”

Is that sweat?

  1. Comrade kommissar Hunter stands to make a fortune off of the jab.
Will the Biden crime family deliver the North American prize to the CCP?
No jab for USPS because some are a little more equal than others in the glorious unity collective and they know all about the Big Steal.
Have you heard about the spontaneous Fvck Biden chants erupting at college feetsball games?
As unpopular as Emmanuel Trumpstein (WWF/WCW) appeared to be there was never anything like that.
What will the republicant Long March fellow travelers of the Uniparty do now to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory?
Maybe Lizzy Cheney or Mittens Romney and can take one for the swamp team.
Counting on SCOTUS (CCP) to get something right? Let me know how that works out.

    1. I think that the CCP has nearly everything they want right now. I think Liz and Mittens are toast politically. And as for SCOTUS?

I hope you’re wrong, but fear that they are all compromised.

  2. So if we call his bluff, what happens? They haven’t left themselves a way to retreat from their campaign without declaring a defeat. If they lose, investigations will commence in a number of places, and discover treachery and malfeasance are wide spread in the US Gov’t. Calls for reform will put many of the swamp out on the street on in a cell, and the Swamp structure will be at least reformed, if not removed.
So I don’t think that whoever is pulling the strings will back off. I don’t know what their enforcement mechanism is, but I think they will try to use it.
Things could go kinetic if no one blinks.

    1. Keep in mind that even the NYTimes says this is an over-reach. He may have lost support of whoever it is that Xeroxed all those ballots . . .

    1. And that’s odd isn’t it?

A 100+ person private sector company faces a $14K fine (technically $13,600) from OSHA per person for those that do not get the vaccine or submit to weekly testing but…

~600,000 person USPS waltzes away from the OSHA mandate.

    2. Yup, first USPS was said to be exempt, but oops, the USPS is subject to OSHA workplace rules, and therefore subject to the vaccine or weekly test mandate.

  3. I think you might be giving The Usurper too much credit. This wasn’t his idea or plan, he just took enough meds to stay semi-lucid for a few minutes and said what someone else told him to. Bigger picture, it will be challenged in a bunch of courts and injunctions will be issued and eventually SCOTUS will slap him down for overreach in the same way they did with the CDC declaring a rent holiday. I imagine this will blow over in a few days to be replaced by some new and fresh idiocy.

    1. Well, it should be understood that whenever anyone says “Biden” they are actually referring to the people running the simulation, and not the man himself.

  4. Yeah, no jab-no job, cue turmoil.

But consider the numbers. As of today 177 million Americans have taken two jabs and 208 million Americans have taken two.
The 208 million who have had “at least” one jab supposedly represent 63.5% of the population, meaning there are 330-208 = 122 million unjabbed Americans. There’s around 69 million American kids under 18, and jabbing them has not yet started in earnest – maybe a few million. So there’s at most “only” 122-69 = 50 million unjabbed adult Americans left. So among adult Americans, 208/258 = 80%+ are already vaccinated.

Wasn’t the herd immunity level supposed to be 70%??? Yes. Yes it was.

    https://www.nature.com/articles/d41586-021-00728-2

    Conclusions:

As long as “herd immunity” is believed BY POLICYMAKERS to be desirable and achievable, expect an even greater push to jab kids next, because getting 80%+ of adults vaccinated hasn’t done diddly squat to slow down COVID.

There are many moves left to play out in this societal chess game. The worst is yet to come. Consider this pre-COVID article, back when facts still mattered….

    https://www.quantamagazine.org/how-vaccines-can-drive-pathogens-to-evolve-20180510/

    1. Israel has a population with 78% fully vaccinated, and Delta swept through them like the vax didn’t exist. Granted, the vax reduced the seriousness of the infection, but Israel disproves the government’s and median’s primary arguments:
      1. The vax does not stop or even slow the spread of the disease.
      2. The vax does not reduce mutation of the virus since it is still spreading widely.
      3. The majority of the elderly and people with comorbidities have been vaccinated, so forcing others will not significantly reduce the hospitalizations.
      4. Significant numbers of vaccinated people are still going to the hospitals if they are elderly or have comorbidities.

The vaccine does seem to reduce the odds of a severe reaction, but it is questionable if the benefit is worth the risk of a vax reaction to anyone under 55 and in reasonably good health.

If you can stand the propaganda, confirmation is available at: https://www.npr.org/sections/goatsandsoda/2021/08/20/1029628471/highly-vaccinated-israel-is-seeing-a-dramatic-surge-in-new-covid-cases-heres-why

    2. I am suspicious. I do not believe that as many as claimed, have taken the jab. They are showing desperation, they need to get more jabbed before the vaccine deaths start piling up, then it would be game over for the jab. BTW! When in hell is anybody that is required to get tested for covid going to refuse the useless inaccurate for testing PCR method? It is only fueling their narrative. We must refuse it, or we are complicit.

  5. I am retired military. I’ve worked as a government contractor since retiring nearly twenty years ago. Today my company said get vaccinated or resign. I emailed the boss back and said no thank you and I’m not tendering my resignation, but will gladly accept being terminated. The battle has begun.

    1. Weedhopper. WEEDhopper. WeedHOPPER

Adding that to the God blesses.

      Thank you for your service.

  6. Not meaning to single you out, JW, but why on earth does anyone suppose that Biden “thinks” about anything, or “fears” what is going on around him? He is so obviously demented that he is nothing but a sock puppet for Mr. Big, or whoever it is stuffing words into his mealy mouth. He is so late-stage Woodrow Wilson that he likely has to be reminded every morning that he is “the president”. And Jillary is no Edith Wilson, despite all the eerie parallels.

If a vaxx mandate is enforced, it’s early retirement for this Covid rebel. As an employee of a Big Three defense contractor, I work for a hyoooge corporation with tens of thousands of wage slaves that derives nearly 100% of it’s revenue from the gubmint. But blind compliance is just not in my nature.

If you will excuse me now, I’ve got a black flag to hoist and a Ka-Bar edge to sweeten.

    1. Without putting words in Mr. Wilder’s mouth, “Biden” can be an abbreviation of “Bidenreich” or “malignant Junta of a malignant pretend-president installed by China over our fair land *

      It’s shorthand.

*Sarah Hoyt** is on a roll

      (**also playtesting the combox protocols)

  7. I’ve found that authority figures with a severe case of the dumbass are first ignored, and when they try to get tough, they find they’re outnumbered and become hard to find. Biden is at that point, and even the best of his handlers won’t be able to pry him from his basement. He probably has plenty of ice cream, and Depends.

  8. So glad I retired from USAF Civil Service at the end of August. Went by my old Squadron to talk to 3 of the gents I used to work with yesterday, and they will all be forcing the Commander to fire them in lieu of getting the not-vax. We have Contractors working for our program and several have left this month, and I expect more to throw in the towel after yesterdays announcement. Waiting to see what the active duty will do, but our DO (second in command) resigned his commission last month, and I expect others to follow. Still not sure how they are going to handle the enlisted force, which will refuse the unlawful order to poison yourself. I do believe the bluff of the meat puppet’s handlers is going to be called.

  9. Lose the consent of the governed? Can’t lose that twice, and for a huge swath, it’s already gone. Inertia is keeping things mostly moving in the same direction they were moving before people stopped believing. It’s a big ship and it will take some time, but like floating along comfortably and then hitting the sandbar, it will get ‘interesting’ very quickly.

Prepping gives you options. If you haven’t started, or aren’t where you need to be, get busy.

If you were prepped for a regional disaster, with outside help available in a few days or weeks, you need to extend your timeline significantly.

Every conflict I’ve read about, if it goes on long enough, the people end up eating grass. Put some more buckets of rice away in a cool dark place. Just saying. Unless you like the taste of grass soup.

    1. re — ‘eating grass’
      .
Reminds me of the reality show episode:
      * a bureaucrat in an armored limousine sees a poor family in a ditch eating grass.
Bureaucrat orders her guards to bring the poor family to her mansion in the gated-community, not to offer them a meal… but because her lawn could use a trimming.

  10. Summary of another summary I saw:

Biden specifically said : “We’re going to protect vaccinated workers against unvaccinated workers.”

If a vaccine works, then what further protection do those who choose to get it need? None!

    But…

If a vaccine doesn’t work – if the vaccinated are still at risk – then why get it all? It’s stupid to risk an experimental jab that doesn’t actually protect you.

  11. Never bluff with a hand full of none-of-a-kind, with your nuts in the pot.

Unless your aim is to be Comedy Relief for the centuries yet to come.

    That desire can be arranged.

    And will be.

  12. ps. John using safari possibly outdated version I am getting that dangerous website warning

    1. I use Safari on macOS Big Sur (latest generally available macOS release) with ‘Warn when visiting a fradulent website’ enabled, and I’m not seeing a warning.

    2. Malwarebites just called the site “fishing.”
Seems Mr. Wilder is doing something right.

  13. Got a medical exemption from vaccination yesterday. Be interesting to see how that plays out at my work which is mandated by our state governor to be vaccinated. I’m guessing that the next step will be to require me to be the only one in the room wearing a mask. I also got a mask exemption (which is awkward because I’ve been wearing a mask along with everyone else at work during the current mandate), but I intend to argue that requiring me to wear a mask is tantamount to announcing my private medical information to the rest of the staff, a HIPPA violation. I intend to not wear a mask once the governor relaxes that portion of the mandate and force them to make an issue out of it. It is possible that I will eventually be fired. Which will be sad cause I like my job (I teach high school math at a pretty decent small rural public school). I’ll keep you updated.

  14. This should be the ‘shot heard round the world’. I hope everyone will stand up to this tyranny. Do not let the unlawful bullies win!

  15. The Baron over at GoV is wisely cautioning to view Biden’s latest edict as a false flag, meant to draw us out violently. He reasons that the communists want this, to enable them to turn their full fury onto us without reservation or quarter. That for the now, they outgun and everything else us, and would love to whittle down their opposition, if not outright destroy it. So like for Sept. 18th, maybe we should just cool it for now, and resist as non-violently as possible. Sept.18th being a false flag event at the Capitol, so they can arrest more of us, and delegitimize us in the eyes of the other half of the population, which is a MAJOR goal of theirs in controlling all of us. Their plans are evil, crude, and plain awful, but their plans are working. I don’t want us to play into their hands.
